Red Sox/MLB 2025 Regular Season II

So, that would not be the whole time.
He was on the mound the whole time while arguing the balls and strikes, and then estabrook unprofessionally escalated and started to walk towards him and Buehler walked towards him in response. If you want to nitpick and be annoying about this then by all means, that’s your own waste of time

Your Sox colors (whatever that is today) are showing.

yeah and you cant yell at umps over balls and strikes, and especially cant yell F bombs at them.

The ump was in the wrong, yes, but Buehler was an equal a-hole here and deserved getting tossed.

idk if this has been discussed here but those are not the Boston Red Sox. My dream is that someday a major league team has the tiniest shred of dignity, pride, and self-respect, and 25 players say, "We're NOT wearing those unis, and we don't care how much you fine us". Ted Williams would have just said "No".

I mean, he was arguing a strike that was called a ball. It was a clear strike that shouldn’t be missed. Just back to the ump being bigger than the game. He makes the correct call, Buehler isn’t arguing.

"Rule 8.02(a) Comment: Players leaving their position in the field or on base, or managers or coaches leaving the bench or coaches box, to argue on BALLS AND STRIKES will not be permitted. They should be warned if they start for the plate to protest the call. If they continue, they will be ejected from the game". Google Search

Where’s the rule where the umpire will call a strike that’s a strike?

The umpire is allowed to do the cha-cha slide out to him and provoke him but god forbid he takes two steps towards the douchebag who is bad at his job

Incident was like 85% Estabrook, 10% Buehler, 5% Lindor. Total ump show
