Gonzalez should have stopped that ball, he just waved at it. Yes Campbell's throw was bad but the first baseman has to at least try to keep the ball from getting by him. Better to get pulled off the bag than let the runner get the extra base.

I’m also frustrated that they often don’t steal with Devers at bat seemingly out of deference to him.

Screw that!

Duran should be stealing 70% of the time he reaches first base.

I love that other Cleveland fans responded appropriately and pointed the guy right out. Garbage person to do that. It’s beyond sports.

I see some obvious changes in Devers' stance: He is off the plate, slightly more open, and the bat is higher. I like it. It looks like he is trying to use his lower body more.

Cedanne should also come off the plate a bit, but if he just keeps the shoulder tucked and hits middle away, the bat speed should take care of the inside pitches. He might help himself by studying Campbell. Their swings have some similarities, but Cedanne works up and chases where Campbell usually does not.

Cleveland, like any team, has its share of ugly, nasty fans. I remember reading some stuff on the old AOL board that made my hair stand on end after Manny signed here.
