Are there certain players starting to stand out or are we too early in this regard? Lots of time to develop but ACC, Monctonian and Icejam are complete .
agreed with you but if James Scantlebury comes up from Bishop's to play back in Quebec he could give a run.Plays more of a skill + IQ game. Not really a physical guy. He's easily the best prospect for the 2025 Q Draft at this point tho.

Joseph is the full package...Scantlebury great set of skills but Joseph already set has 1st pick in 2025, Q teams already playing their cards to hopefully get him.Don't think he's anywhere near personally, but to each his own. Still a good player.
any of those payed scouting services does...Joseph certainly seems like the full package for sure. Was trying to find an updated draft order/picks by round for 2025. I know it isn't settled but you would think I could find something. Anyone able to point be in the right direction? Thanks in advance,
I have seen Sam play a few times and he is very strongSam Berthiaume I think will be the top goalie for the draft...but i know Quebec has some great goalies for the draft too.
Would anyone risk a top 10 forwards?
My:
1 Alexis Joseph
2 James Scantlebury
3 Zakary Horvat-Edouard
4 Nolann Leroux
5 Luca Desjardins
6 Benjamin Veitch
7 Zach Arsenault
8 Louis-Etienne Halley
9 Matys St Gelais
10 Jayden Pominville
Prep schools seem to be the answer for Maritime and Atlantic hockey players . Many years ago I heard a QMJHL coach suggest that a player from Quebec would be one year ahead in development from a Maritime player of the same age . The reason he gave was that the coaches from Quebec were full time coaches getting paid $60 - 70 thousand a year to coach these U18 teams . The training was really taken seriously and the time and effort was put into it . Players from Atlantic Canada must go to prep schools to get the full time coaching they need to advance to higher levels of hockey . So many of them get to play D1 hockey and get a first rate education at the same time . The level of hockey they play is obviously very competitive and very good as witnessed by the fact a first round draft pick this year came from a Canadian prep school . The entire QMJHL didn't have a first round pick !!! I am talking FIRST ROUND NHL hockey , can you believe it !!!!Will most of the top 09 Kids in Quebec play U18AAA in Quebec or if not where will they play next year? I'm hearing (and could just be rumours of course) there may be more Maritime kids moving to prep Schools in the US this year than usual .
That makes sense, I'm hearing a lot of the Maritime top 09s are heading to South Kent and the top NL kids heading to Ontario/Quebec.Prep schools seem to be the answer for Maritime and Atlantic hockey players .
