Leafs are going to win and I wouldn't be surprised if it's a blow out, but I'd rather see the Rangers winning 3 cups in a row than rooting for the Leafs over anything

I have put my hatred for Tavares to rest.

The fact is we had terrible management, Jack Capuano for years as a coach, gave him Matt Mouslon, PAP and a dozen other journeyman for wingers... He had good reasons to be skeptical Lou and a new arena would change things.

I wish we had traded him for a kings ransom. It sucks he didn't. His comments after signing with Toronto stung and were tonedeaf

But what is done is done. The isles have lost a ton of talented players to varying circumstances. The Milbury era alone is soul crushing if you let your mind dwell on it.

I am just looking forward. As I have commented elsewhere, I would even take JT back given the right conditions.

Big fan of Mathews, but I don’t think he’s captain material. And the promotion/demotion with JT was 100% not gonna make the job any easier
