GDT: 2025 Playoffs - First Round

He had a few good chances (hit a post), though generally doesn’t look like he’s meshing, is soft (always has been), and is a tad slow. Had a nice rush to feed Landy on his goal in game 4.

Yeah we're not re-signing him, which sucks for the assets we gave up.

He's just not the 2C to complement Nate.

Bednar is also being a stubborn ass, Lehky-Nelson-Necas looked like they were gaining chemistry on a road trip and never played together again

When you least expect it nelson will catch on fire. Better late then never I guess. Always a risk signing rentals. It's not over until the fat lady sings though

It’s going to be interesting where he ends up in FA. The cap space is there for him to make a lot of money. However, he’s unimpressed in 4Nations and now in this series.

Watching MIN he doesn’t seem to fit how they play and why if you are Guerin would you weigh down your cap with Nelson? That team is being powered by an elite player and a bunch of youngish bucks that are playing very very well.

He’s gonna end up somewhere odd. Detroit, Vancouver, or something.

He could end up back here.

If Nelson was holding out for Horvat money and the Avs go out this week, he is going to get a rude awakening on July 1st.
Yeah, the grass ain’t gonna be greener on this one. High probability if a team signs him to a big deal as 35G scorer at $7M+, he's going to have a rough end to his career.

I forgot Andresen was hurt so maybe the Devils have a chance. I don't know why Carolina continues to go with him, he gets injured every season and I think every post-season.
