I've been way more impressed with Charlie Coyle. He's driving play, setting up shots, great board work, keeps the puck after contact.

I keep hoping to see some of this from Nelson.

Ya Coyle also was annoying against the B's. Nelson is different, he is like a silent assassin, when you least expect it he will get red-hot and score very timely goals. Hopefully he starts to heat up soon, as time is limited now.

Yeah he's one of six guys that doesn't have a point. His play is just frustrating, great in the circle though.

Doesn't help that we're giving him the wrong linemates. He doesn't seem too okay with contact though.

He’s not a checker. He snipes. He cruises around above the high slot in the O Zone and, while he doesn’t shy away from corners in the D he doesn’t always scrap hard for a loose puck.

Charlie Coyle is a gamer. I like his style of play.

Nelson has a great release. The best one on the Islanders but he’s always been streaky. It’s never been unusual for him to go cold for 8, 9, 10 games.

Hopefully he chips in very soon, otherwise I'm all for moving him to 3C. Kadri spoiled us at 2C.
