I really think if Benn goes, Seguin should retire on LTIR as well. If his contract wasn’t buyout proof, that would honestly prolly be a good option. Time to move on. Heiskanen will be the next captain.

We need someone with a bit more nasty than Miro for Captain. Maybe Bichsel one day, but I like my Captains to be able to step up in any situation that arises. Old Jamie Benn, Brendan Morrow, Derian Hatcher, and Tinordi...all could get dirty if need be.

PDB being fired or significant staffing changes are the leader in the clubhouse, for me. Any “good” news (branding change, new sweaters, new arena, resigning core piece) would also have Brad Alberts tweeting something.

Holy crap that would be amazing! You'd have to think it'd be Robertson +Harley for Quinn Hughes from a cap standpoint. Hughes-Heiskanen top pairing from hell.

I get the whole management/robertson issues. But why would you give up your top goal scorer? And for a defenseman. Wouldn’t it be better to swap out Harley or Lindell for a RHD and keep Robertson? This team struggled to score goals in the playoffs and he was one of the few that did. Why move him for a RHD when you have too many LHDs.

This is of course assuming Robo’s contract demands are not insane. If they are then moving him is the right call.
