I really think if Benn goes, Seguin should retire on LTIR as well. If his contract wasn’t buyout proof, that would honestly prolly be a good option. Time to move on. Heiskanen will be the next captain.

It gets worse when you tack on the end of the regular season.

Benn scored one goal since March 9th. That's one goal is his last 35 games.

Interesting point about the C/Benn. I don’t think a change is “required”- but it sure feels like the stars have aligned for the organization to transition towards a new leadership group. No pun intended. And when I say organization- I mean you won’t get a better chance to make a change than now. If there was ever going to be a time, this is it.

Wow. Totally agree. I will acknowledge I don’t know the context- maybe he felt like reporters were leading the question but he didn’t handle it correctly if thats the case.

Getting rid of Seguin probably isn't realistic. LTIRetirement maybe, but doubtful anyone is going to want to take on that contract, that he'd be willing to waive his NMC for

The way DeBoer handled pulling Otter in game and practically blaming Otter in his postgame is just an awful look.

He also took an unnecessary jab at Otter after last game.

It didn't matter what Oettinger did in pretty much all of those games.

I think we should keep Robo, but he is kinda the only one on the team that we can realistically trade for good value (for a RHD, whatever).

Marchment, Duchene, and Dumba absolutely have to be gone somehow.

Something like this. Gronlund can be replaced by any ufa at 4.7 and smith/blackwell are place holders. That like up is 70k below the cap ceiling.

This is rolling out the essential same team as we had this year, albeit a bit worse on paper. I honestly don’t know what Nill can possibly cook up to do anything of significance.
