He's totally requesting a trade to Pittsburgh as soon as this tournament is over.
Start the rebuild! MacK to Pitts, Makar to YYC

Man, why do so many superstars prefer to live next the the ocean. He will sign with the Rangers.
I’d bet the house on it.
The things I would do for our center depth to be MacKinnon > Crosby > ROR.
It's essentialMan, why do so many superstars prefer to live next the the ocean.
New York for MSG and the ritz. Florida for the taxes and titties. Dallas for taxes and...BBQ?Man, why do so many superstars prefer to live next the the ocean.
Then we need to work a deal where it's a sign and trade and he just doesn't know it until after all is said and done. Because I can think of no better way to attract free agents than by kidnapping one and holding them hostage.Exactly. We can't keep our own players what makes people think we will grab prime FA.
Nate continuing to show up just like he did in the playoffs.
Watching how effective MacK and Horvat were together on the PP makes me more frustrated that they didn’t push for him more when he was going UFA. He skates well, shoots the puck and is good in faceoffs. Despite all that, there’s a good chance that Bednar and Bennett would’ve found a way to not make it work
We possibly could get the assets by trading Necas and Manson, but that would require some major GM wizardry. This is who @Balthazar wants us to get this summer and he says the Isles should be trading him.
Too bad we have no assets left to get a player like that.
This could be a negotiating tactic by his agent, but with so little cap space, that could be just as bad.We possibly could get the assets by trading Necas and Manson, but that would require some major GM wizardry.
Now that the Athletic announced that Nelson isn't likely to come back we're pretty much f***ed.
Let's be honest, he never played, acted or sounded like he wanted to be here. This could be a negotiating tactic by his agent, but with so little cap space, that could be just as bad.
I have like 30 unused Brock from Pokemon gifs that are just going to go to waste now....Let's be honest, he never played, acted or sounded like he wanted to be here.

Am I absolutely mad thinking that Girard is could have better value than Manson? Some teams really still need those puck moving D-men.We possibly could get the assets by trading Necas and Manson, but that would require some major GM wizardry.

He has to be if they have any chance of filling 2CAm I absolutely mad thinking that Girard is could have better value than Manson? Some teams really still need those puck moving D-men.
I think that Girard is very much at play this summer.
YepAm I absolutely mad thinking that Girard is could have better value than Manson?
I guess it depends on the teams that are acquiring him, because they are two defenders with such a different profile. Manson, you are getting someone to bring size and toughness for your second pair. Girard is specifically brought in to bring that puck moving ability and skill to your second pair. I think you would have to look at teams that are going to look for 2nd pairing guys, to get a sense on the market. I think both are going to have some value, and some teams are interested in one, some in the other.
Broken EP40 is the only reason he would be availableI wish EP wasn’t broken a swap w Necas and G going the other way makes sense for both teams especially if Hughes is not going to resign there
Manson is everything a contending team wants for a playoff run. Right handed, expiring contract, size, physical, won a cup, good teammate...he'd return a 1st+I guess it depends on the teams that are acquiring him, because they are two defenders with such a different profile.
