Lots of Sox reporters have said it. Listening in between the lines to Carrabis confirms it. But the Sox won't give him a 7 year deal. He should take the reported 4 year deal with opt outs, imo

If RA makes the team out of camp, AB's will be tough to get for Yoshida.
Duran/Abreu/Rafaela and RA need to play most days.

Yoshida was an above average hitter with a f***ed up thumb and shoulder last season. Apparently the shoulder is why he didn’t play in the field

I’m actually kind of bullish on him this year, I think he should hit well. I think he’s not an ideal roster fit for us but he’s still a good hitter

I’m irked over the Bregman non signing but the pitching looks pretty good

They are banking on the kids being better than Greenwell & Burks and more along Rice/Lynn/Evans

3B Devers ~ not aging well although first year in awhile been in Camp 3-4 weeks ahead working with trainers & staff

SS Story - I’m a fan here but he’s got a track record of being hurt

2B Grissom & Hamilton - I don’t have enough time to cover Grissom alone question marks

1B Casas- another injury prone guy and his quirky behavior already on Cora radar

All 4 infielders got concerns

Campbell and/or Mayer ready ?

I’m not going there
