I hope this situation makes Carolina rethink their roster strategy and we can get the price down for Marner to sign with the Ducks

Rest of roster construction matter. Canes are already soft and small. We're building a bigger team so I hope if we sign a player like Marner, we could still be ok. Teemu was part of the 07 team for example

Whats funny about Florida is their smallest guy Marchand could probably beat up Carolina's biggest guy lol.

Seth Jarvis, Logan Stankoven and Aho is like Joe Pesci and Ruben Blades playing Basketball for money and is one example showing why you can't get by with a roster full of little guys

Leo can at least hit pretty good in big moments, he has done it in the pros even before draft. Sennecke is a bit nastuly with his hits. Cutter and MacT while not a phydical force, the can stand their ground. Stian is a menace. We're building at least a somewhat physical team. I am sure Pat will find new Gudas and Troubas along the way.
