Former Panther Emil Heineman with the only goal for MTL in the 4-1 loss.
Just how good was Zito's 2020 draft?!!

We're on top of the world now and I hope we stay there as long as possible, but looking at the guy's drafting, I'm very hopeful that when we eventually do rebuild, Zito will be great at that as well.

Playoffs board has about 500x fewer delusional shitposts this morning. Wasn't even really paying attention to the league scoreboard last night, guess Montreal really did get eliminated.
 
Not sure who to root for in TOR/OTT, tbh. On one hand, it would be unbelievably f***ing funny for the Leafs to get reverse swept in the 1st round by Ottawa of all teams. On the other hand, I'll have a lot of free time if the Panthers dumpster Toronto again and I get banned from HFBoards.

Rooting against the Leafs is rooting for team chaos, so I'm always rooting against the Leafs.

I’m so profoundly unsettled evaluating the Sens / Leafs game six this evening. The potentially, delightful outcomes that may arise over the next few days are ping-ponging within my cranium, tickling my gray matter with vivid, exhilarating conclusions. So torn am I; so very, very torn.

Do I want the Leafs to suffer the humiliation of losing to the Senators in a reverse sweep? How I crave a victory in this first of two steps, bearing witness to the maturation of the junior Chucky and his tribe’s rise to a new level?

How delicious this Canadian cannibalism could satiate the Senator fans, even if only a temporary euphoria. Don’t want him rising too far, too fast, blood or not.

OR

Do I prefer the Panthers destroy the Leafs themselves? To single handily, shatter the “core four” and add that franchise to the list of our trophies.

  • The Bruins.
  • The Rangers.
  • The Lightning.
  • The Leafs?
Oh my, I’ve soiled myself.

So torn am I; so very, very torn.
