2025/26 will be our version of OZ, a Ducks story.oh no here we go again
You can read between the lines. What isn’t criminal but requires “personal conduct and respect” training? It isn’t drinking.Hmm....non-criminal, but worth an indefinite suspension?

Dear God please not this again...oh no here we go again
I won’t speculate but it narrows it down. It’ll be up to the teams interviewing him to determine what it means. What is it?
What is it?
Same. It actually matters a lot to me in extreme situations. Like Schaefer is almost a full year younger then Martone and Eklund.I always find it interesting to note who are the late bday prospects, especially find it relevant with the CHL guys having that extra season of junior hockey under their belts.
Schaefer - Sept 5th 2007
Misa - Feb 6th 2007
Desnoyers - April 11th 2007
Frondell - May 7th 2007
O'Brien - June 16th 2007
Martin - March 16th 2007
Mrtka - June 9th 2007
Smith - May 13th 2007
Reschny - April 7th 2007
Potter - Jan 10th 2007
Fiddler - July 9th 2007
Martone - Oct 26th 2006
Hagens - Nov 3rd 2006
McQueen - Oct 2nd 2006
Eklund - Oct 3rd 2006
Bear - Nov 4th 2006
Aitcheson - Sept 21st 2006
Carbonneau - Nov 26th 2006
Hensler - Oct 14th 2006
Lakovic - Dec 12th 2006
Lakovic has been mocked anywhere from 10 to 25. Most have him in the 14-17 range. It’s a bit of a reach but no more so than sennecke was last year. I don’t think anyone would take him in the top 9 but anything is possible.Great so now Lakovic is crossed off the board
He has done something bad enough to get himself and his coaches suspended. He will be drop down on teams lists nowLakovic has been mocked anywhere from 10 to 25. Most have him in the 14-17 range. That’s not a factor at all. Like almost everyone in this draft class he has flaws. The two main ones being that he is not very physical despite his size and that he is inconsistent. The upside though is a top six LW which in this draft would be a big win if other players are gone by pick 10.He has done something bad enough to get himself and his coaches suspended. Big difference in goals scored by those teams. Martin had a point on 36% of the Greyhounds goals and 25% of Canada's.Martin
WJC-18: 7 games, 3g + 8a = 11 pts, and a +15 rating (Canada didn't lose a single game)
OHL Playoffs: 5 games, 2g + 2a = 4 pts, and a -5 rating (lost series 1-4)
Which small sample of games to believe?

Players getting into trouble off the ice is absolutely a factor in drafting someone. That’s not a factor at all. Like almost everyone in this draft class he has flaws. Hmmm, I think you are galaxy braining that a bit. I think it shows that he was the offensive driver of his CHL team and didn't have much in the way of support. And still and displayed that he was a driver on a loaded team. 25% contribution is really good, a player with 25% contribution on a decent NHL team is a 60+ point player. Not saying that that stat translates 1 to 1, obviously. What you're saying is that Brady cannot offensively carry a weak team, but on a stronger team he can pile up more points despite not having a higher contribution rate. That makes it worse for Brady because it makes him a complementary player.
Because he was 16 at the time and almost no one is talking about it. Plus it looks like he took responsibility for it and did penance for it. Kids make mistakes and adults should show the proper judgement in terms of how long and how severe to punish them for it. Whatever he did shouldn’t be a life sentence punishment IMO.How could you possibly claim this?
Claiming it is not (should not is what you are meaning, it is your opinion masquerading as fact) a factor and then saying he shouldn't have a life sentence for whatever he did are two very different things.Because he was 16 at the time and almost no one is talking about it. Fine. It will be a factor however large or small. Feel better now?Claiming it is not (should not is what you are meaning, it is your opinion masquerading as fact) a factor and then saying he shouldn't have a life sentence for whatever he did are two very different things.
You bet your ass smart teams will do their due diligence and make their decision based on their comfort level. Of course it will be a factor.
Do you? I get the feeling that it mattering elicits some sort of emotional response. Obviously it does, since it goes beyond the logic of vetting a multi-million dollar asset and into the current culture war regarding what accountability should and shouldn't be.Fine. Yeah I do and I’d rather talk about the hockey aspect rather than the other. As soon as someone mentioned the issue earlier it completely derailed the conversation and now that is all that matters apparently. If you want to talk about lakovic the hockey player I’m glad to do so. But I’m not going to engage in speculating about the other because it ALWAYS ends up destroying the topic and the thread. You get that?Do you? I get the feeling that it mattering elicits some sort of emotional response. It will matter, even if in just the most amoral, pure business sense.
