He’s been dealing with it since mid-season 2023-2024. That's why he wasn't able to finish the U18 tournament. He's been rehabbing since then. I am getting flashbacks of Lindstrom's timeline being continuously pushed back.​

Yep exactly, the skating wasnt great, the reason he was struggling against men on big ices. Joining the CHL has been great for his development.

Peters and Robinson just talked about him falling into the teens, EP just ranked him there as well.

I still really like Frondell, I think those takes will age poorly as he gets healthy.

But if he's there for the Calgary pick I will be more than glee.

I think our list at this point is pretty much Schaefer + Martone + 5 Centers (Hagens, Misa, Frondell, Desnoyers, McQueen).

Unless the injury is career-threatening, I don't see how we can justify not addressing Center again. Edit: Quoted the wrong post but talking about McQueen here.

It's just that he's so tall and already a back injury, you might be forced to look elsewhere. But that's essentially what I mean.. I'm only taking McQueen if we are forced to.. i.e. we pick so low that Those guys are gone and you are looking at McQueen vs. Smith vs. Eklund

The premise of the poll needs to be changed. Hagens in no longer consensus #1. Hell he may not be top 3 after Schaefer, Martone and Misa. Also, please allow us to change our vote. It's a long season, it will be interesting to see how that changes above throughout the year!

I'm Caleb Desnoyers hype train. If Habs don't have top 4 pick, it's all fine to me because we are still be able to grab Desnoyers in the range of 5-8.

Desnoyers is the guy Habs miss for complete that rebuild.

A fantastic two-way guy, great leadership, great hard work, great skillset. Can become a really good producer at NHL level. Very underrated offensive game by some people. This guy is more than legit.

That's 100% my guy after the top 4 (him and Frondell are my guy, if Frondell isn't picking in top 4) my top 4 is Schaefer, Misa, Martone and Hagens.

Kid seem to have great work ethic, great sense of the game and likes to raise when it matters and clutch in big stages. Kid is skilled, insanely good at faceoff, has dangles, can pass, can shoot, can hit, can play dirty, can curse in French, this kid is a machine.

I would take him as high as 4th overall. After Schaefer, Martone and Hagens. Over Misa.

I don't know, on international plays and CHL vs USA games, Desnoyers stood out more to me. Desnoyers is a competitor with a killer instinct. We'll see

Yeah. i really want a player from the top 4 of this draft. But f***ing Nashville and Buffalo are pushing us out of a top 4 picks!
