In fact for me ..Martone is not in the same class.
.Schaefer is the real deal.

He is the best D coming from the OHL since Doughty in 2008 and he is maybe better than Doughty....

Schaefer is such a smooth, effortless skater, that skill alone makes him very projectable. He can cover the whole rink in just a few stride.

Love the kid. He’s a smaller type (5’10-5’11), though. Not sure the habs would pick him with their high first but I wouldn’t be against it. Dynamic, skilled.

I saw the prospect game and….

Schaefer has shorter legs but skates flawlessly. Reminds me of Bret Hedican skating.

Martone is built like a man among boys. His skill and tools is NHL

Misa didn’t impress me. His skating is very smooth.

Linden Lakovic is a beast. We need him for the second first round pick.

Desnoyer is very much like PLD. But better.

He’s almost a year younger than most prospects in this years draft. He missed 2026 draft by 10 days. The fact that he’s going top 3 this year and is almost a year younger than Martone Misa and Hagens tells opinion a lot. Schafer I think will be a number 1 defenseman. He’s got skating speed talent and size 6’3”. Basically a #1 defenseman.

Desnoyers 200 ft is already so good. He’s a sure fire centerman in the NHL, unlike Hage. And i think he has more jam to his game than Hage.

I really like Desnoyers.

I'll see how he does in TPG and Memorial Cup playoffs before making a decision. Q is a weak league and I see some concerning features in his numbers

A waak league but they win the Memorial Cup half of the time..

Crosby, Mackinnon, Letang etc played here.
