Might end up a steal outside the 1st round
Thats because he is lazy. Think Kyle Wellwood

100% agree with DND. Team chemistry is important, and I expect that we've all played or worked with an arsehole that sticks everyone else with the hard work. This is the difference between scouting players behind a computer screen and dealing with people in real life.
There are simply some players that are a detriment to team building, despite their talent. I would suspect if everything that's been floated around all year about Ryabkin's attitude and personality is true, that CHI definitely has him on their DND list.
Ideal draft imo:
Take Frondell at 3
then if Eklund is still there at 13, trade Korchinski plus however many seconds it takes to get the Rangers pick and grab Eklund
Take Potter at 25 so Musto is happy (and because he’s really good)
Then staple Frondell and Eklund with Bedard for the next 15 years and watch magic happen
Frondell is now -105 to be the pick. Eklund is -250 to go over pick 11.5, so there is a chance he falls within a range of picks that KD can package 25+34+? to move up
how the betting market is pricing the draft...the numbers are from draftkings as of earlier todayWhat does this even mean in real life? Where do those numbers come from?

I wouldn't hesitate to take Rybakin with the Hawks 2nd Round 2 pick.
seems like an awful idea, they moved from 10 to 1 and they're always trying to 'compete'I wonder if Chicago has any appetite to trade #3 to NYI for NYIs unprotected 2026 1st and a solid F prospect. Maybe a bigger deal to include Ritchie.
I'm fine with punting on #3 for another lottery ticket in 2026.
Chicago was cool with passing on their 2025 pick - is Hagens important enough to NYI to risk their 2026 first rounder?
If the Isle would be so strongly inclined to want Hagens at #3, it would require a kings ransom. An unprotected 1st in 2026 and 2 of 3 of Nelson, Ritchie, and Eiserman.I wonder if Chicago has any appetite to trade #3 to NYI for NYIs unprotected 2026 1st and a solid F prospect. Anybody who thinks Ryabkin falls out the first round is foolish.
Watch the Flyers draft him and he becomes a 30 goal scorer playing with Michkov.
Talent> perceived attitude issues
