That has never been ignored. I've admitted to being wrong about Vlasic numerous times.
Even made a whole thread about it.
Did you? I must have missed it. Kudos to you if so.

Wah wah wah. Not everything has to be taken literally. Some of you just fall for his antics too often

NBA hasn’t been a serious sports league for decadesMany are upset with Adam Silver for rigging the NBA draft
He's too obvious
Unlike our boy Gary who is selectively giving us Bedard, followed by no movement, then a single spot down but boosting the Islanders who will take Hagens so Chicago can still get Misa, and finally a lotto win next year for McKenna
Gary is so crafty
What would we handicap the chances of this happening? They are still upset about Tavares leaving. That plus an absent GM is a recipe for ownership meddling for sure

Apparently they really wanted Ken Holland to be their new GM which is pretty alarming. They're interviewing Marc Bergevin, Matthieu Darche, and Kekalainen. Bergevin has a pretty bad drafting record, Kekalainen just drafted a big kid with a f***ed up back 4th overall, either of them might big brain the 1st overall pick this year. What would we handicap the chances of this happening? I wouldn't even blame them for doing itWhat would we handicap the chances of this happening? They are still upset about Tavares leaving. That plus an absent GM is a recipe for ownership meddling for sure
It’s almost impossible to say. A top 5 pick hasn’t been traded in over 20 years. What are some realistic deals at fair value for the 3 OA?
HmmSchaefer.
You take the best player in this draft no matter the position and never look back.
If you want Martone, you trade down. I don't think Martone goes top 10.
You mention playing for a great team as a thing to question about Desnoyers however, have you considered the fact that he may be the biggest reason they Moncton is a great team?To love: High IQ, compete and two way game
To not like (or to question): Plays for a great team in a weak league which makes him hard to compare to the other top guys, doesn’t look super dynamic
Feels like a high floor, low ceiling type of pick
That’s probably why the Hawks won’t pick him. They could probably overlook the skating if he actually played like a monster power forward
I'd give it a sub 1% chance. No team in the NHL would pick a player solely because they grew up in the city. NHL teams are looking for whats in the best interest of their franchise. Teams drafting at #1 aren't worried the player will flee like Tavares. You get the player for 9 years almost regardless and the team can trade the player 9 years from now if they think he will leave. That was on the Isles staff. What would we handicap the chances of this happening? They are still upset about Tavares leaving. That plus an absent GM is a recipe for ownership meddling for sure
He has admitted he was wrong in the past to be honest. I would stop responding to people after a while if they were still ribbing me about it myself.
He is a bit much at times, but I just consider it comic relief.
Unless the Islanders are married to the idea of Hagens and arrange a trade down, I can easily see the Hawks trading down to acquire improved NHL talent as attracting will require overpaying or settling (or both). So, this proposed deal with Buffalo----I was actually thinking along the lines of something involving Alex Tuch, but some kind of move back that still might land a Top 10 talent.
Martone needs elite game processing in the NHL. Lack of mobility, slow acceleration, and stiffness will limit him. He's a playmaker, even though people keep talking about his size. There are no more power forwards in hockey that play like Eric Lindros anymore. But Martone is a modern power forward. High-end skill with the size, puck protection and ability to play well off contact and in traffic. He's going to be a lot to handle in the NHL as long as his skating doesn't significantly hold him back.
I am on team trade up or team trade pick for established player. I am not on team draft Martone, Frondell, Hagens. On the rare chance Isles or Sharks takes someone not named Schaefer or Misa then stay at 3 and snag them and run away like you stole something.I see everyone talking about trading down, what about trading up? Give up 3 and 29 for 2? Is that not enough? Then hell give them 34. We’ve got tons of guys in that range already, Boisvert, Vanacker, Greene, Ludwinski, Savoie, Hayes, Kantserov, and others. You know what we don’t have? A running mate for Bedard
