Bob released his list. I think its become less and less "good" the longer he has been away from the game.
It is his list, obviously he doesn't give his own opinions, but he puts his name behind it and he finds the scouts info.It is not his list actually.
That is what i meant. It is his list, obviously he doesn't give his own opinions, but he puts his name behind it and he finds the scouts info.
I'd be cool with any of Schaefer, Misa, Martone, Frondell, or Desnoyers with our top pick. There really isn't a bad option
I love Martin but I wouldn’t do that deal. He’s too young. Need to move Korch for someone 20-23Unless we trade Korchinksi to move up, we have no chance at Martin. Martin is a beast. He looks like a top 10 player in this draft class to me.

I keep thinking of the worst case scenarios for the Hawks so nothing surprises me. The worst case scenario I can think of is the Hawks winning the lottery, drafting Misa at #1, then moving way up in the draft to get Ravensbergen.I love Martin but I wouldn’t do that deal. Some very interesting information revealed on the Athletic podcast today. When talking about 1st oa, they said Schaefer is a heavy favorite to go 1, but there is a scenario or 2 where they think a forward would be picked at 1.
In regards to the top forwards of the class, Pronman and Wheeler were talking with scouts on who they think is the top forward in the class. They heard a variety of names. All of Misa, Frondell, Desnoyers, Hagens, Martone, and O'Brien were mentioned as a scouts top forward in the draft class. Misa was the more common answer, hence they think he will be the top forward selected. The guy they think that is most likely to dethrone him as the top forward picked is Frondell. Having said that, they said the over under % chance Misa is taken as the top forward was 35%. That is noticeably low, but thats more credence to how much of a toss-up the top forward in the class is
I’d be sick if we drafted Ravensbergen at all.I keep thinking of the worst case scenarios for the Hawks so nothing surprises me. The worst case scenario I can think of is the Hawks winning the lottery, drafting Misa at #1, then moving way up in the draft to get Ravensbergen.
It's not that I dislike Misa. It's more of the fact that winning the Schaefer lottery, then picking a forward is the one thing that would both get my hopes up really high, then tare me down. With goalies, I hate using high draft capital on them. We also used a ton of capital and assets on Knight and Gajan already
In a world in which the Hawks didn't acquire Spencer Knight and Commesso didn't finish strong, I guess one could pretzel logic the shit out of moving up to draft Ravensbergen. Doing so now would make zero sense. Step back off the worst case scenario ledge.I keep thinking of the worst case scenarios for the Hawks so nothing surprises me. We also have Gajan...who is only 20.In a world in which the Hawks didn't acquire Spencer Knight and Commesso didn't finish strong, I guess one could pretzel logic the shit out of moving up to draft Ravensbergen. Doing so now would make zero sense. Step back off the worst case scenario ledge.

That’s a name that sells jerseys.I’d be sick if we drafted Ravensbergen at all.
Lame, I quite like the card flipping always builds insane anticipation while also making the surprise of a team jumping all the crazierThey're apparently doing the ping pong balls live during the broadcast this year, so no dramatic card flipping
I'm curious to see how they handle it, and make it entertainingLame, I quite like the card flipping always builds insane anticipation while also making the surprise of a team jumping all the crazier

Hmm. I guess I never saw that kind of offense. I need to watch some of my U18 tape.Man I really want Murtagh if they stick at Toronto’s pick. Kids just everywhere. B grade version of Leonard
I mean I guess I don’t either but that’s why I say a B-grade Leonard. 20-20 guy feels like a fair projection. Shot easily the most projectable offensive tool but he dabbles a bit with flashy handsHmm. I guess I never saw that kind of offense. I need to watch some of my U18 tape.
What does Murtagh excel at ?Man I really want Murtagh if they stick at Toronto’s pick. Kids just everywhere. B grade version of Leonard
Motor and willingness to engage physically. Type of guy who could be the glue/third wheel in a top 6 role (win battles, finish plays)What does Murtagh excel at ?
Thanks !! He's headed to B U so Yea makes sense .Motor and willingness to engage physically. Type of guy who could be the glue/third wheel in a top 6 role (win battles, finish plays)
