I'm not sure that would be nearly enough for Power. Hell, I'd kick in the Toronto 1st with Murphy and Moore if that's what it took to get him... although if I'm Buffalo I probably say no to that too.

3 out of his last 4 season Cozens hasn't really been that great, but I don't watch Buffalo often. Is he at least passing the eye test? The numbers don't come close to matching his 7.1M cap hit which he has for 5 more years after this season.

Best player in this upcoming draft is a defenseman.

If the Hawks luck into FOA "draft a forwardsz cuz wez gotz defensemanz!!!".......

And this is why the Hawks suck and will continue to suck.
Your opinion matters why?

Aren’t you the person who lied about your gaming status?
Aren’t you the person who lied about having a large social media following?

So are your trustworthiness and ability to be factual the things that make folks interested in what you have to say?

No it doesn't, stop being melodramatic.

Lev is handling himself fine in Rockford; he should be the youngest D in that entire league this season. KK is also young and working out some kinks. Rinzel looks really solid. We've got a lot of other D that have NHL potential (Allan, EDM, Phillips, Kaiser).

Nazar is playing great for the Hogs. Compare his season so far to Logan Stankoven's last year, when LS was the same age as Nazar is now (also comparable size wise). Stankoven is a contender for the Calder this season. Moore hasn't been amazing, but he's been fine. Slaggert, Dach, Savoie have all been noticeable for Rockford.

Goalies suck, I grant you that.

Hawks need to draft another top line guy and things start falling into place real quick, especially if Nazar hits.
Not being dramatic at all. We have no sure fire top line player or top pairing defenseman with any of those picks. We drafted a 4th line forward 19th oa who Kyle said "We had him in our top 10", then drafts Boisvert 18th oa who has a ton of warts as well. On top of that Kevin Korchinski has looked awful at all pro levels in which we used a 7th oa pick for. Frank Nazar might pan out to be a top 6 guy, but is still a little ways away from being an impact NHLer. Then of course we took Levbustov over the Demigod (who looks like he could be a top 6 forward in the NHL at the end of this season)

I think it's a little early to be this negative about the top prospects. Would I like more points from Oliver Moore? Yes I would but I'm not ready to call him a 4th liner. We don't have a sure fire top line player or defender in our system at the moment but not many teams do unless they just picked a guy in the top 5.

We can go back and forth on Levshunov vs. Demidov but it's way too early to declare if that was the right call. It's incredibly rare for defensemen to make immediate impacts compared to forwards so I'd say just sit back and enjoy. 5 points in 8 games, even with a -4 rating, for an 18 year old defensemen in the AHL doesn't scream bust to me.

By "those picks" I assume you mean the picks you referenced in your previous post, the picks over the last three drafts? Well, for those drafts, we only picked a forward with a top 10 pick once and he certainly looks like an elite forward. Don't think I have to explain that defensemen usually take longer than just a couple seasons to hit, even ones selected high in the draft; took Drew Doughty, for example, a few years to hit for LA. It's incredibly foolish and shortsighted to be overly critical of the D picked in those draft years, especially Korchinski and Levshunov, who both have a ton of upside and good physical attributes.

And who's to say Nazar is a "little ways away" from making an impact in the NHL. I mentioned it in my previous post to you and I'll say it again, his season in Rockford so far this season is mirroring Logan Stankoven's season last year, when LS was the same age as Nazar is now. And Stankoven had Mavrik Borque putting up better than a PPG pace to play with, while Nazar's best teammate, offensively, is Colton Dach. Now I'm not saying Frank will be putting up a pace worthy of the Calder next year, but just that there is potential for him to hit, and hit as soon as this season or next.

I also disagree with your views on Oliver Moore. Disappointing start to the season, sure, but his stock hasn't dropped down to "4th line NHLer" status yet.

Rebuilds are never easy. A lot has to go right for it to work out. But freaking out about this shit at this point is premature.
