That's not good. Once they break they become much more suseptible to future breaks. It won't effect his draft status though. He still the best d.

Yeah our track record for too 10 picks is horrendous. Our success has come later in the first round or other rounds

If nyr pick 7-10 is Roger McQueen a legit top 10 prospect in this draft or is he just another huge dude that will top out as a bottom 6 guy? I could def see dru being intrigued by him in the 7-10 range.

McKenzie in his last list had McQueen at 6. He's a big guy who moves pretty well and has both a skill and a physical game. A couple of the fights he had last year came because he flattened opponents. He's not the greatest fighter though. My guess is he won't be a top 5 pick...fairly good chance he'll be in the top 10 though.

I read up on McQueen because my first thoughts were he’s ranked that high bc of size but everyone seems to really like the hockey stuff.

He’s legit got injury issues though. Pass

Frondell has been dealing with injuries too. Desnoyers is gonna solidify himself as the #5 behind any combo of Hagens/Schaefer/Misa/Martone. Cootes is gonna be the next to climb.

They also replaced their goalie. We already have the best goalie in the world, or at least the highest paid one, so I don't see much help coming from there.

I feel like the Rangers have had luck on their side with the Kakko and Laf lotteries - and thats gonna be where it ends.

I could see them ending up around 5 and then a team like Pitt or the Isles or Philly wins the lottery and pushes us down a spot.

The karma just isnt good around this club.

I feel terrible for any of these top prospects playing scoreboard roulette every day watching the Rangers fall down the standings. Maybe Schaefer intentionally hurt himself lol.

Playing in NYC is really only great if your organization knows how to turn you into a great hockey player. We’re legitimately going to ruin one of these guy’s careers.
