I just keep seeing him slide down lists. You throw in a few late risers and maybe we get lucky. I'm trying to think of something comparable but I can't, maybe if I looked, and after Lindstrom last year mayve that will scare of some teams. I saw McQueen outside the top 10 multiple times, and at some point someone will take him, just wonder if he can make it down to our pick.

So looking at things, lots of kids seems to be climbing on teams's list or more like bottle-necking the top 15. I'm starting to think the Habs shouldn't trade their pick.

16/17 will have good options.

Zonnon will be an nhl player if his off-ice work ethic is like his on ice game. Would be all over him with our early 2nd rounder. He has middle 6 written all over him.

It's hard not to take him especially if we keep both picks. Although it sounds like his condition could very possibly be recurring given the sport he plays.

Hockey is a tough sport, if the spine (the back) is injured, medical personnel need to assess the situation. Therefore, we are all in the dark here.

Someone physical like Limatov, can he skate and contribute offensively/have good defensive positioning, and IQ?
Don't want to take a big physical guy in the 1st round just because he's big and physical...

It’s a no-brainer with our prospect pool and needs. We need forwards with size and we already have a good pool that can offset McQueen not developing as expected.

We can afford to take a chance with McQueen, especially if we keep both picks. If our medical team gives the thumbs up and he's there, we should 100% consider it IMO.

Sptifire hasnt been posting on hfboards in a while (at least I haven't seen anything). He is a very knowledgeable prospect guy. When he speaks I listen. I am very interested in this Limatov kid. Could be a 2nd round steal.

Ekblad fit the bill. Maybe I am watching different hockey than you but Ekblad game shine a lot in the playoff and I doubt Florida would be as dominant without him back there.

Ekblad is playing the best hockey I've seen out of him recently.

Not surprising. If he slips at all, I'm sure they'll be aggressive.

Makes sense if they are dangling a RD in a trade. He is like K’Andre Miller in terms of size and mobility, a guy Bobrov and Gorton drafted. Schneider too in a way.

Hard to imagine Mrtka will slip in any way, if anything, I'm expecting him to be moving up into the top 8. He could very well be the second dman to be picked. There's not much to dislike with him or make you think he won't reach his ceiling.
