If Roger McQueen falls to 16 because of injury concerns I think we should take a home run swing and go for it. That's what draft power luxury gets you, the ability to take more risk for upside.

I can see a world where this happens, that back injury is scary at this point for sure.

I'm happy drafting Aitcheson or Smith don't care if they are lefty

At this point we are close to being a contender and we will need to raise the bar everywhere, if that means moving on from Xhekaj and Struble or converting them that's just the price of business

Great report on Carbonneau. He's very very inconsistent, but man he shows flashes of everything. High end scoring ability, good deception, tough and nasty. He's the type of guy I take everyday in the middle of the first round and use our development staff to turn into a consistent player.

Currently, my choices would be:

16+ 17) Jake O'Brien (c) or Brady Martin (c) or Carter Bear (lw) or Justin Carbonneau (rw), Lynden Lakovic (lw), Kindel (lw)

39+ 49) Brzustewicz (rw) or Amico rd , Grenborg (lw), Medvedev (g), Cole McKinney (c), Will Horcoff (c)

I could just see him turning into Mike McCarron 2.0 here.
