That mix of size, skating, puckhandling and playmaking is what excites me the most going foward, he is good at cycling the puck too. He is a big kid who doesnt use his frame enough, but still uses it well when he wants too. He is 6'4 and not even 200 pounds yet, I think he will be a monster when he matures physically and adds 15-20 pounds. He is a bit of a project at this point, needs to work on some details of the game, but I would say his 2-way game and motor are good enough for me at that point.How do you feel about Lakovic's jam/physical game? You think he'll toughen up?
Watching him skate through the neutral zone with his soft hands is a thing of beauty. He projects as a solid complementary piece on a top 6 or great middle 6. Since Moose Jaws sucks, I hope he makes the jump to the NCAA next year, he wouldnt look out of place.
