Neutral Zone scouting report on Milton Gastrin.
Milton Gastrin projects as a versatile, defensively responsible center with middle-six NHL potential. His leadership, compete level, and ability to thrive in all situations make him a coach's dream. While he may not be an elite offensive force, his consistent effort and hockey IQ provide significant value.

How do we feel about Hagens' chances of going 1OA at this point?

I think the field at -230 looks compelling 3 and change months out from the draft.

Feel free to edit this if mentioning odds isn't appropriate, not sure of rules.

Hagens won't go 1 OA.

Schaefer will go and if it's not Schaefer, Misa is in the flagpole position at 2.

Hagens will go 3 or 4 depending on who is picking there.

I would think 0 chance he goes 1st OA but I'm not a huge fan.

I think Misa has a much better chance than Hagens. I'd take him over Schaefer as well. Going to watch him pot his 60th on Friday.

I tend to agree. It's a limited market but this isn't reflected in any odds yet.

Really appreciate all your clips this year.

I think there's a better chance he drops out of top 5 than going top 3 at this point.

HuGo…toss the fellow an invite. Or spend a late pick.

This kid has been grinding from Day 1 of his junior career. Was pumped to be a ninth-round take and has worked like a son of gun chasing the dream.

Now, this year, he has been cashing in his chances. Kid deserves a shot.

Would be nice addition to The Rocket and I’d bet the farm he would work his butt off, Xhekaj style.

Note: He’s big enough.
