Martin coming on late in season. Soo been on a heater he's been dragging them into the fight. They lost tonight Brampton beat them but it was 3-3 late in third. Porter Martone scored on powerplay

Martin good pick for Habs around 12-14. Mid line center, two way gritty center give you 50 points average season. He'll going to be #2 center his career year or two.
Habs need depth at center. They don't have the star center. Sam Bennett fair asset. Riseborough he reminds me of some.

I know how irrelevant +/- is but like damn man when you’re +21 and the next best guy on the team is +4 that’s a crazy statistical difference.

My guess is Anaheim are after the same players as us: Desnoyers, Bear, Frondell, Martin, O’Brien maybe even Mrtka but for them Hensler is more of their ‘type’.

I am sure we come out of this draft with one of the above maybe two depending on how the draft falls.

Mrtka will go top 5. I mean....if the RD need is what it is.....he has to be. And frankly, for me, it's not even about that. It's about him being a BPA at that point.

Schaefer / Hagens / Misa /.....Mtka as soon as 4? McQueen will fall due to injury concerns. Then you have Martone and Frondell.

He's the dream for me
I have a mind to package our 2 1sts or wtv works to secure a top10 pick to grab him

We missed out on Ryan Leonard. I want Brady Martin.

If we aint avle to get Desnoyers, i want Martin. Center with skills and physicality. I think his offensive skills are even more translable to the NHL than Leonard.

The usual top four, Desnoyers and Frondell aren't happening.

Well be picking from the likes of Eklund, Mrtka, J. Smith, O'Brien, Martin, Bear, Aitcheson, Hensler, Carbonneau, Lakovic, etc. I'd imagine Mrtka and Eklund are gone when we pick, probably McQueen too as someone will roll the dice in a draft like this.

If we get a couple of picks in the teens i wonder if we would move them both to get into the top 10? What kinda value would say 14 & 15 get us? I think if it gets us into the top 6 it would be tempting.

We keep winning taking ourselves out of Martin range. We draft 13th as of today.

This team needs to play in meaningful games. It was always going to be the next step in our rebuild.

Developing a winning culture is far more important than drafting 5 spots higher. We still have two first round picks and 2 second round picks in this draft. It will all be ok.
