I would point out Hawks rebuild didn't start until the 2022 trade deadline when Kyle Davidson had interim tag removed (Bowman having been fired early in season) and made Hagel trade (TB 2023 1st and 2024 1st round picks went to Hawks)
Hawks had traded away 2022 1st as part of Seth Jones trade (Bowman mistake) so Davidson made the shock trades of Dach and Debrincat at draft and then took on Mrazek contract to jump into 1st round giving Hawks three 1st round picks that year
7th from Sens = D Kevin Korchinski
13th from Habs = C Frank Nazar
25th from Leafs = D Sam Rinzel
This was start of full tear down rebuild and continued with trading of Patrick Kane at TDL to Rangers in 2023 (Face of franchise gone as part of rebuild). Hawks won lotto on 2023 and ended up with
1st = C Connor Bedard
18th = C Oliver Moore
Past draft Davidson again made moves to jump up a few spots from TB pick (The odd NYI/Chi trade months before draft) and then traded back into 1st round with Canes (27 for 34 + 50)
2nd = D Artyom Levshunov
19th = C Sacha Boisvert
27th = LW Marak Vanacker
Davidson strategy of accumulating picks and trading up into 1st (He tried in 2023 but found no partner) has been by his MO since taking over

Honestly thought Briere was doing similar with asset management but last years Flyers 1st round confused me with trade down and then trading out of 2024 1st at end
Later I found out about agent issue with Buium and assume Briere liked 2025 draft over 2024 with that trade with Oilers. Thought 2024 draft has been talked about as deeper/better than this years for a while so odd for Briere to pull that trigger on trade with Oilers
Of course we will have to see how Davidson strategy for Hawks works out and Briere with Flyers but both sides are going to add another blue chip prospect to pools with our early round selections and as of now both Hawks and Flyers will add a late 1st round talent as well with Hawks having Leafs 2025 1st and Flyers having Avalanche and Oiler picks
