He came to our school to give a speech and let me tell you, that dude is so far up his own ass it's incredible. He basically spent the entire time talking about himself and had this video montage that was like "Rudy is...." and a bunch of stuff like "Greatness". He sucks
Ha I remember him coming to my school too. I do remember thinking, this guy is nothing like Rudy in the movie. Bring out Sean Astin!

He probably thinks he could have done a better job carrying Frodo up Mount Doom too.

I would LOVE an elijah wood, sean astin, dominic monaghan and bill boyd group heel turn where they're complete assholes to everyone and talk about how gr8 they are all the time

it's overdue tbh

Frondell is healthy again and putting up Elias Pettersson type draft year numbers in Allsvenskan. Should probably be in the conversation for 2nd/3rd overall.

For sure, I think he's back in it for 3 at least. He and baby Eklund are pumping each other up. Like the Misa/Cherny connection.

Hagens may fall to 4 or 5, really depends on how he closes out the year and how much people are worried about his size. He could still be the best player in the class when all is said and and done, and my money still has him in the top 3 but... It's getting more interesting.

Always remember: Big boy (6'0" Frondell) good, small boy (5'11" Hagens) bad.
To be fair: Frondell is thicc at 196lb already. Hagens is 5'10.75" until proven otherwise and slender (176lb) and 6mo older than Frondell, if that means anything (it may not).

They're both kids, so it's not the end of the story, but there is a difference.

Personally, I would see it the other way around.

Recall Dahlen went roughshod in that league a few years ago. Even going PPG at Frondell's age.
Jonathan Dahlen scored 29 points in 51 Allsvenskan games at Frondell's age. Most of the NHLe models value Allsvenskan points at around 2x NCAA points. It's a professional men's league with teams getting relegated from/promoted to SHL each year. Much higher level than college hockey.

Yea I realized I had the wrong year and you beat my ninja edit 🤣
Obviously a much different player than Dahlen too. We should be more confident Frondell will stick at center than either Hagens or Misa considering he's playing the position at 17 in a good pro league.

Definitely a different player.

I just wanted to point out why I'm valuing college hockey over the Allsvenskan points nowadays. I'm just traumatized from the Dahlen hype from his back-to-back 70 point seasons.

Sure, but 1.25" isn't going to make or break someone's career. I'm just not convinced Frondell is a lock for even a good 2C.

Except when they list Joe Pavelski as 6'1".
That’s just Dyslexia: Pavs was 1’6”. Talk about beating the odds. He played with a #2 Ticonderoga pencil they say, with clothespin for a curve. Slept in Joe Thorntons sock drawer when they were on the road, he’d nestle down in there with his muffled snores sifted through Jumbo’s Lululemon undergarments. For breakfast every morning he’d eat a whole peanut, and promptly take a nap thereafter. But he had a heart that was 5x the size of any other many on the ice, the anti-Rudy he twas, a true tyke with a chip on his shoulder - some say it was a Dorito that fell from Brent Burns’ beard. How he tipped those pucks, oh boy, was that a sight. He’d leap he would like a giddy leprechaun and redirect to whatever corner he’d choose, as if it wer nothing. Some say that’s how he had to get things from the kitchen cabinets at home since even a footstool would leave him short of the countertop. He was sumthing he was, lil’ Joe the peanut boy on ice!
