2025 NHL draft expected range is online! It will be the best place to follow the draft with quick and live analysis of every team performance. With information coming, so far from 28 different sources.

This is my second year at the helm of the project. You can expect new updates every two days 'till the draft. More sources will be added as new rankings are made public. Fifteen of the present 28 sources are final rankings.

Interesting, are these sources all public rankings? I saw that Frondell's expected range is 4-9, but he is currently the favorite to go 3rd oa on sportsbooks

At the top of the draft, this, method probably doesn't work too well, because of noise added by the difference between mock drafts and prospect rankings.

Lots of people think Hagens is a top prospect, but I don't think anyone thinks Chicago is taking him, with their current forward composition, and I think Utah would be a pretty big surprise, too, so it feels like his ceiling is 5th, but because a lot of people have him ranked higher, his range is 3-5, even though most people ranking him there don't think he will go that high.

As you go later in the draft, the difference between ranking and mock is likely drowned out by the large ranges, so it starts to make more sense there.

What would be nice if you allowed people to filter for just certain rankings . So say I only wanted to use specific 10 or 15 of your 28 sources, I could filter for them and see the results.

Is that possible ?

Very cool. I particularly like the sources page which lists outliers for different scouts/services as well as omissions.

All the sources are public, you have the links to all the sources rankings in the sources tab.

Nice idea! Too short notice for this year though, with all the updates that I will have to do between now and the draft I won't have time for much else. But I do keep the idea for the 2026 edition. Thank you!
