NFL GDT: 2025 NFL DRAFT Thread

Charles Robinson said some teams are concerned that they won’t be allowed in Boulder next year.
heres the thing:

Prime coached Travis Hunter too. You mean to tell us Hunter is such a golden child but his kid is too much of a dick to ignore his production?

My cousin played DB in the ACC in the 2000’s and after his senior year the projections had him going anywhere from 3rd round to UDFA. After a brutal couple days of uncertainty he got picked in the 5th round, I still remember how nervous he sounded in the first interview they did with him on his draft day.

Sickening to think about messing with someone’s emotions in that situation, regardless of what you think about the guy.

This is a serious question to which I do not know the answer.

Did he publicly call out a team for doing something like lying about an interview with Hunter? And also call the Head Coach directly to complain about it? Because he did with Shedeur.

He coached both guys though. He definitely cares for him just as much as his own. He had most of not all of the same guidance

When does this hate turn into full fledged bullying? I'm starting to feel sorry for him. I don't follow college, but I did follow some of this guy and I don't know if it's his fault or the fault of Dion for him being in this position. I understand he interviewed badly and teams don't want the circus, but again, is that really his doing or his father's doing.

I think it’s pretty easy to see how given the way the NFL approaches these things, calling you out in the press and calling the HC could be interpreted as crossing a line. We can agree with it or not, but they probably see it that way.

Not drafting a player isn’t bullying. It’s a cold-hearted business and we have a team of reports that his pre-draft process went poorly. Some teams aren’t going to want to work with him.

The fake draft call is absolute horseshit though. There’s no reason to do that to someone.

Who knows. Did Sanders truly not take some of the interviews seriously so now his options are very limited?

Prank call pretty clearly crossed the line.

As far as the rest of the social media hate, comes with the territory, you take the good with the bad.

I can't remember ever seeing a draft day fall like this. Only one that compares from where they were projected to go a week before the draft to completely falling out of the first 2 days is La'El Collins, and uh, that one was way more complex than the teams not liking him.

Maybe someone prank called him, but 99% sure that wasn't actually a team but some dude pretending to be a team. Cruel yeah but not the NFL's fault, that's simply what being the center of attention means. It's not gonna be all good.

Shedeur is not a 'can't miss' prospect which means he'd have to rate really well on all the non-football stuff to get a team to bet on him. But the opposite is the case. Not only does he have an ego, he has the worst kind of tennis dad you can imagine. If he's not balling at a top 10 starter level, he's basically a net negative on a roster due to what a presence like that can do to the vibe on the team, player/coach relationships, team/media relationships etc.

Shedeur was never anywhere close to a mid 1st rounder like Collins. That was just shitty mock drafts and positional value plays. His upside has always been in doubt and the attitude problems were known. Collins was a higher end RT prospect in the days when Right Tackles were a lower value position.

If you want a recent comp, Malik Willis is right there. He was projected as high as 2OA and went 86th.

He actually told teams not to draft him or he wasn’t going to sign.
