He didn't run at the combine. He's an good route runner with good hands and tough after the catch so he should definitely help.

The actual scouts came out of hiding after the college season ended and started chatting with people who talk about when players will be drafted.

A bunch of people have stubbornly refused to listen to that, and kept saying that he would go early.

Scouting reports I’ve read through primarily come down to:
- Not an NFL caliber arm
- College production propped up by Hunter.
- Various other cons like holding onto the ball too long, but most of those things should be correctable at the NFL level.
- Football IQ as a QB mixed scouting reports.

And the elephants in the room:
- Reports of “entitlement”, and “bad team interviews”, but no team officially on the record saying that of course.
- Has only ever been coached by his dad in college. Usually teams like players coached by fathers with previous NFL experience, but Sanders situation has been at least somewhat different following his father from school to school.

I don’t buy the entitlement thing at this point. He has a personal relationship with Tom Brady. Longer than Brady has had one with the Raiders.

I definitely do.

Teams don't like bringing in a circus unless said player is good enough to justify it. Sanders just doesn't have the skills that make it easy to ignore the baggage.

She’s been the one who has held firm and she is looking smart now

Cause again she didn’t do the Monday morning QB and say this 15 minutes ago she reported the first anonymous quote 3 days before the draft that he allowed he to post about the interview being terrible

Then like a day before on NFL network, with Rappaport she said, I’m not sure how many people realize how many bad interviews he had

But she didn’t go into what was so bad. As some were around dinners

It’s also worth noting that Shurmur ran a Mickey Mouse scheme that can’t be done up a level. It wasn’t as ridiculous as something like Tennessee’s, but it was super narrow in scope. Teams generally want those guys in particular to interview well to have faith in making the jump. There were games they ran Y Cross 10+ times. It was a miserable tape watch.

I forget who had the report (might have been her as well) but an anonymous scout said he was legitimately the worst interview he ever sat through.

Interesting. Not a big fan of Russini but she seems to be right more often than not

Remember when Lamar Jackson brought his mom to some interviews and she kept saying he has nothing To improve. And the interviews went really poorly.

I’m not saying shadeur is Lamar

Just more interviews are huge
 
maybe sanders camp is demanding that whichever team drafts him has to hire deion as HC or OC and that's why he's falling

I f***ing hate sports media.

They get a narrative and they just ignore everything to the contrary for the sake of clicks. They'd sell their own family for a view.
