NFL GDT: 2025 NFL DRAFT Thread

We sure the Ravens didn't think it was this Mike Green?

I don't mind the Jackson pick. Would have like it more if it was after a trade down (Woulda done the Houston deal). I preferred Johnson or Starks but I don't hate it.

Good to insulate your young QB and fortify the OL. Assuming he pans out as at least solid the Vikings upgraded the IOL huge this offseason. Replaced Bradbury, Risner/Ingram, and Brandel with Kelly, Fries and Jackson. And Brandel goes back to swing backup which he's more suited for. Also will get Darrisaw back.

Solid/safe pick. I like it.

Ideally they would've traded down to recoup some draft capital but it doesn't seem like Jackson would've been there. It sounds like he would've been gone in the first round and possibly even 25th to Houston. There was a big drop off after him at IOL so I guess they just decided they'll take a guy they like, who'll likely be a plug and play starter.

Vikings finally have some quality guards! What a time.

All of this Shedeur talk but I need to know more about Milroe. How did he get an invite to night one of the draft? What type of intel was provided? Who sent out that invite? I need answers!

I'd say Bech was arguably the best WR available. There are a couple others I liked as better fit for the Raiders though.
Myers, Tucker are their main WR at the moment. Smaller speed guy and an intermediate route solid size guy. They need guys who can stretch the field to allow bowers room to operate.

Scouts don’t like Shadeur for a lot of reasons. Not all character/dad.

If the Browns don’t take him now in the 3rd round that’s the ultimate criticism.

Can Bech stretch the field though? I remember reading he has separation issues and I'm not sure about his long speed.

Didn’t follow the combine so not sure. Tucker is their speed guy. They just need guys who can open up space for Bowers who is their best weapon.

It’s at the point where it’s worth it for someone like the Jets, Cowboys, or Cardinals to go for it.
