NFL GDT: 2025 NFL DRAFT Thread

Jeanty is awesome but basically no reason to take an RB that high on a team like the Raiders.

36, 126 and throw in your 2026 2nd and I think that's plenty to move up to #2. And the Browns can keep one of both of the 4th and 6th.

But the AFC South isn't exactly murders row, so if Hunter is a star and you're picking 20th, you don't care too much, but if you're in the top 10 again that's rough.

Need to look past the 3 spots and ask after Campbell, what’s the on board that gets you excited?
Not much impact players this draft.

Yeah I wouldn't be happy if there was elite talent at premium positions on the board but there's not any in this draft other than Hunter and Carter.

I agree. Cause after 2 years raiders are likely to switch QBs. But at this spot, they don’t need TE. 2 best DL are gone. No WR is worth it.
Can go OT if you don’t think Miller either has much left or would rather get cheaper at that spot.

I guess you could say that he would be a 1st round pick at either position, so it would be worth 2 1st round picks. If he's your guy, then you get your guy.

Can't complain about Jeanty, I knew when we got Geno Smith via trade, Carroll had eyes on his running back in the draft.

Jeanty gets me excited, but I also get the hesitation given his position. I just don't think the difference in the 2 players was worth next years 1st. If Hunter is able to stick and succeed at both positions long term then you don't care.
 
Panthers have missed playoffs 7 straight years, wow didn't realize it was that bad

Thought they snuck in an appearance at one point a few years ago must have confused them with someone else

In 2018 they were 6-2, went to Pittsburgh for a Thursday night game. Newton got injured, and the team finished 7-9. Since then it's been at best, barely mediocre
