Jordan Reid wrote these draft predictions for New NFL mock draft: Predicting all 32 first-round picks, with Tennessee on the clock

1. Tennessee Titans (3-14) - Cam Ward, QB, Miami
2. Cleveland Browns (3-14) - Shedeur Sanders, QB, Colorado
3. New York Giants (3-14) - Travis Hunter, WR/CB, Colorado
4. New England Patriots (4-13) - Kelvin Banks Jr., OT, Texas
5. Jacksonville Jaguars (4-13) - Will Johnson, CB, Michigan
6. Las Vegas Raiders (4-13) - Abdul Carter, Edge, Penn State
7. New York Jets (5-12) - Mason Graham, DT, Michigan
8. Carolina Panthers (5-12) - Mykel Williams, Edge, Georgia
9. New Orleans Saints (5-12) - Tetairoa McMillan, WR, Arizona
10. Chicago Bears (5-12) - Will Campbell, OT/G, LSU

I watched almost every Miami game this year and it's hard to say how Ward will do as a pro. Despite putting up huge numbers he still seemed to make some bad throws every game due to poor decision making which could be really costly at the faster pro level. On the hand, he is very athletic and has arm talent especially his quick release. He's also pretty clutch but not sure what happened with him quitting at halftime of their bowl game. Overall, he's more of Penix/Nix level prospect than a true #1 imo. Doesn't mean he won't be good as Nix has shown.

weak assa QB draft
26 not sure how great it will be. I would not expect arch manning to leave Texas after 1 year as a starter. He’s more of a 2027 draftee imo.

Currently the big names are Allar from psu though with strong games vs ND and either Texas or OSU might change things for him.

There is sellers from South Carolina and iamaleava from Tennessee. But way too early to tell from 2 guys who played 1 season and passed for under 20 TDs and under 2,700 yards each.

If Penn State wins, Allar will leave.
Most likely. Only difference between him and McCarthy is that JJ’s HC was leaving for the nfl this a bunch of changes on the staff. Whereas Franklin is locked in at PSU for next season. But winning it would increase his draft stock and put him into the mix with the other 2 guys.

But I’d be worried about Ten. New GM who would not have hired this HC who has no real track record in the nfl.
Cle would be a complete rebuild which is understandable and I like stedanski as hc
NYG, like Daboll but have no confidence in Schoen.

But whether 25 or 26, going to a bad team.

Allar with a huge mistake late with 34 seconds left and 1st down with 2 TO. Late across the middle for a pick to setup the game winning FG for ND.

12/23 for 135 yards and a pick. PSU ran for 200 yards so didn’t need him to throw much.

Game does not really up his draft stock. Kind of what we e seen out of him at PSU.

As a Jets fan, I'll be insanely excited for Carter, Will Johnson or Mason Graham.

2026 is way better, I'd take Iamaleava over the guys this year but I don't know if he declares. I think he will because he's not going to be the QB1 in any draft that Arch is in which will probably be 2027. I also like Sellers a lot but would like to see him develop more as a passer next year.

Hard to see how he will be in a position to declare given what we’ve seen.

I hope he’s talking for 26 draft. Currently a RS FR so he is eligible to declare for 26 if he wants to but can’t for 25 draft. But like Seller has just this past 24 season of stats. So like most kids still need a good 2nd year to make the jump for the nfl.

After finishing an inconsistent season with 4.5 sacks, PSU’s other DE Dani Dennis-Sutton had 4.5 sacks in 3 playoff games.

No word yet, but I’m expecting him to enter the draft. This is a very deep Edge class, but he has the talent to go in Day 2.

ESPN analysts are saying said Max Crosby could get you a top 5 pick in this draft?

What are peoples thoughts on that?
That seems like insanely bold

I don't see it

I think ESPN would desperately love for a Deion/Shedeur/Hunter reunion in the NFL and they're trying to lay media groundwork for that to happen

Off the jump I can’t see any of Cleveland, Jacksonville or NYG doing that. You’re not getting 1 overall from Tennessee. So that leaves the Pats. Maybe in a vacuum his value is that high because he’s an elite player in his prime at a premium position, but that seems like wishcasting a way to get the raiders into two top 10 picks for the Sanders of it all.

Only reason to trade for him is if you are in a similar position like Chicago was when they got Mack. Ten, Cle, NYJ, NYG have no QB. NE is weak on offense and need to build up OL and weapons. Jax, similar to NE but also need to fix Lawrence. No team in the top 10 can maximize the next say 4 years of prime years left for Crosby.
After at 11, SF has the talent but would be in difficult cap situation with all of their guys.
