He was completly gassed at the end of the game, the Lakers have ZERO bench, had 40 year old ass Lebron out there for the entire game. He played some ridiculous defense today though, that block at the end of the 4th quarter was crazy. Fat ass Luka was cooked as well but he ain't 40 years old lol

I understand why the NBA and referees try to be transparent after the game. But at the same time, proclaiming "man, we f***ed up" isn't going to change anything for Detroit or this series overall.

Not that I blame that as the sole reason for why they lost today. This series could either be Detroit 3-1 or New York in a sweep as it is.

Luka, Lebron and Reaves don't play any defense. You cannot win in the NBA with 60% of your starting 5 being cones on defense. Lebron put it an effort on the defensive end yesterday but had nothing left to give on the other end of the floor as a result.

To have success with Luka, you have to surround him with guys who will cover for him defensively and who also don't mind not being involved in the flow of the offense while Luka shucks 40 shots per game.

lebron's been great on D. you can tell he's not exerting as much energy on offense and letting luka carry them on that end. the main problem with the lakers this series is that they're being forced to go small because they don't have a big outside of hayes who is unplayable and that's allowing guys like randle and mcdaniels to go into the post easily. luka's a better defender than he gets credit for, but how well is he going to defend when he's playing 40+ minutes and carrying the load on offense?

minny's also built perfectly for today's NBA. lots of length, athleticism, and good defense + 3 pt shooting
