NBA 2025 NBA Draft Lottery

the lottery is rigged af

The worst 3 teams didn't even finish top 3. How is that possible?

"they had a 14% chance of winning"

That'as the problem right there. Dallas, a team with a lower % of winning the lottery, won it over them. How?

Abolish the lottery and assign teams draft picks based on record.
Make it bottom 3 teams are the only ones with the first 3 picks regardless of draft rights. The NBA is stupid with their trades though.

You answered your own question. Why abolish it when they can keep control of where they can assign the stars?

The tell that the Luka trade was rigged is the fact that he was only offered to the Lakers. As if the guy who won GM of the year in the previous season suddenly was too stupid to get a bidding war going for one of the youngest stars in the league.

Nothing made it more obvious than the fact that Dallas didn't even shop him around. Like you have one of the biggest names in the league available and you go to one specific club for a deal?

The NBA is such garbage and exemplifies everything wrong with sports.
yea there is way to many changes that happen year after year in the lottery with low percentage chances lol its become obivious it is rigged .

Honestly, my opinion of the NBA and its "inmates run the asylum" mentality happened the moment a 17 year old high-schooler named Kobe Bryant came out and insisted he would only play for one team. The moment you let the players just dictate their terms is the moment I realized the NBA wasn't a serious league.

Have to look up the odds, but the NHL when it did 3 draws, like in 2017 where none of the bottom 3 secured a top 3 pick, was very odd.

Have to review the history of the NBA draft lottery wins over the past decade to see how badly the bottom 3 drop.

Gary Bettman: Hey Silver I just helped the Utah Mammoths out because they didn't get a pre-slotted top4 pick like real expansion teams.
Adam Silver: I just stepped in to help the Mavericks recover after losing Doncic for Davis in a lopsided trade.
Gary Bettman: Wow lol. That is wild, not even I would do that.

What were the odds both NBA and NHL would have a team jump 10 spots to win the #1 overall pick in the lottery system the same year ? Seems impossible.
