The NBA draft lottery i feel like is the only one that routinely gets the side eye from people about its legitimacy.

I have never found myself feeling like the NHL lottery is rigged. (even with the crazy results the last one created) Dumb strokes of luck like Edmonton winning the McDavid lotto when the league changed the rules to try and prevent teams from hoarding picks? Sure, but that was more of a haha moment than anything nefarious. Even with the past one, you can't scream rigged because really, who the f*** is going out of their way to rig anything for the Islanders?

the NBA one on the other hand, it feels like there's far too many big shakeups with their draft order for it to be just be statistical noise.
