Jets don't often get called smart because they're not smart but this is a smart move. Make it official and get it out of the way early. Making him fly all the way out there just to essentially tell him to **** off is just the cherry on top. Hopefully this is the last time we have to talk about him but some team might talk themselves into it.

No, that team won't be the Vikings. JJ McCarthy and Danny Dimes will be the Vikings QBs next season and they'll be studs because KOC turns everything into gold. Skol.

Browns won’t have much cap room. Assuming they make the Garrett trade. Would love cousins if he got cut, but aside from that don’t have much cap to offfer. Might just draft a QB.

Jones would be wise to stick with a good offensive HC and not land in chaos. What is the browns OL looking like?

That's exactly the kind of thing Rodgers would do tbh.

Anyways, 100% the right move for the Jets. Rodgers is poison and his on-field play can't make up for it anymore.

Kenny Pickett was going to be competing for the starting job last year too until things changed really quickly, and now he just put the wraps on a Super Bowl win. I would say that Fields is the leader in the clubhouse, with the Chef lurking, but I wouldn't put it past Tomlin to change his mind midstream

What do you mean? Minnesota has done well with ex-Jets QBs especially ones that were legends in Green Bay as well lol

Give me Tyrod for a season, re-assess in 2026. Wasn't in the mood dealing with this egotistical maniac for another year.

Absofreakinglutely.

This year for the Jets isn't about wins and losses. It's about building a culture of accountability, professionalism and respect and removing the drama, nepotism and cliques. Part of that involves tossing all of Rodgers and his sycophants out the door. Saleh and Douglas got neutered by ownership. Hopefully the same thing doesn't happen to the new guys.

The Rodgers era was a bigger failure than anyone could have imagined. Time to bury that chapter and move on.
