I was just at the big island back in mid march. The volcano was active then but not erupting. Incredible landscape out there. Much different from the other islands and I remember being awestruck thinking how there's so much lava erupting from these volcanoes they reach all the way to the shoreline, leaving volcanic rock and very fertile soil in its wake
