Hell baby
What a bad run for the Sox that this happens every year! Maybe I'd be less skeptical this time if that boy hadn't cried wolf so often.
Had or is having a 4th kid, said he’s 40 and wanted to be around his family more

Not gonna lose sleep over it, plenty of old decent relievers left (my choice would be giving Yates like 1/20 or Robertson 1/15 or something). I think the relief market is mostly waiting on Tanner Scott to sign, they’re going slooooow

Just sign Tanner to a huge one year deal if he's the best available relief pitcher. If he sucks it's one year and if he's good you can refuse to trade him for a haul at the deadline because you have a 12% at the Wild Card.

Not much incentive for him to do it unless he’s getting like 3/45 offers. He apparently wants 4/80

I bet he gets like 4/70. Somebody’s gonna want poor man’s Billy Wagner

Totally down for a big 1/25 or something if doable tho

Apparently the dodgers are in on him, they’ll give him $200 mill in deferred money knowing the worlds not gonna be around in like 7 years

My joke was pretty good and didn't deserve so much sincerity.

Casas++ for Guerrero --- extend Guerrero.

I know it won't happen this early --- maybe at the deadline, though?

I mean, another contender isn't likely to offer much in July, if there is a good chance he's going to sign here next season anyway.

Toronto gets a potential replacement, Sox get Guerrero.

Sounds good to me.

The Sox should trade Casas for a top level position prospect and then wait for him to develop and reach the big leagues before attempting to sign any notable free agents to big deals, but before they actually do that they should trade that now-MLB player
