Well that was fun while it lasted
If Sox lose out on Soto there will be no Teoscar, sounds like he will be going back to LA.
Good luck with that Rip Van Winkle. When I awake from this nap Juan Soto will have made his decision. Manifesting this
In all seriousness, one of my concerns about signing Soto is his decline as a defensive outfielder, and the thought that 4-5 years down the line, you'd be paying two guys who should be full-time DHs a combined $80 million/year with no choice but to play at least one of them in the field every day.Sox fans: Papa Henry, can we get Juan Soto? Please?
John Henry: No, we have Juan Soto at home

They play 81 games a year on the road, too.He could play left field at Fenway for the next decade without issue.
I want him but it seemed weird from start when the one area you got covered is a lefty corner OF/DHIn all seriousness, one of my concerns about signing Soto is his decline as a defensive outfielder, and the thought that 4-5 years down the line, you'd be paying two guys who should be full-time DHs a combined $80 million/year with no choice but to play at least one of them in the field every day.

Rooker is 29 I go get him - sign to starters with Beiber one
If no Rooker, Adames would be strong consideration
you are GM what would your plan beMeh.
I wouldn't be thrilled about loading the roster with more DH types, even if they're right-handed.
Adames wouldn't excite me, either.
