Those first couple picks especially look like home runs. Flames better not do that well in the real thing haha.

Happy with the value. Smith's upside is massive. I think I got great value on Frolov and Prokhorov too. Took swings with Schmidt and Simpson

Agreed, that would be a great draft, although the Flames have a plethora of great defense prospects. I think they would likely take a F depending on what is available.

I was thinking forward, however, Smith is firmly in my top 7 this year. Couldn't pass up the value. His upside is high end. Also helps that he's from Calgary. For a team that has lost talent due to players not wanting to be there, it adds to the intrigue. Went forward with all my other picks save for Frolov, again there, couldn't pass on the upside/value

Agree on Smith's upside. Flames do have lots of dmen in the pipeline but mostly smaller offensive guys, so Smith could still really add to their depth with his size and being more well rounded.
