NFL Draft: 2025 (HFBoards) NFL Mock Draft

I didn't see anybody post this, so figured we should get a thread started for people to pick teams etc. My thought is to begin the draft ~March 14th. That will be a couple days past the beginning of FA which starts on the 12th. And prior to the 12th, is the 52 hour courtship period for free agents. So, most big free agents should be picked over by then.

For the first time in awhile, every team owns their 1st round pick.

I have arranged them in 1st round draft order. Go ahead and pick your team. I have taken the Steelers.

I think what happens is it takes too long to get there.

I tried to do this last year, but didn’t follow through. We almost made it to the end. Just make rounds 4-7 or 5-7 a free for all. Throw out the 12-hour pick-by-pick and give everyone 24 hours to make whatever pick they want for that round. No one wants the same guys by then anyways.

And yeah by the time the later rounds came around I was much done. I think 5 rounds this go around is a good number to settle on.

ADDED: Possibly looking to trade down as far as 9 or 10 once we’re on the clock depending how the top 3 picks go.

Oh also we're already looking to trade down. Need to recoup some picks.



I think 4 rounds is perfect. 5 tops. Also do we wait for comp picks? Or just add them in after we start since they're all 3rd round or later? Like I know the Vikings for example are probably getting a 3rd.

Comp picks are awarded for the following year's draft, eg 2026. Thus the comp picks for this years draft are known.

They're known to some extent but haven't be officially announced for 2025. No one is certain of the formula. Like the Vikings are expected to get a 3rd round comp from Cousins' leaving last year but it hasn't been officially awarded yet.

My bad. I could have sworn they were announced but they have not. Just projections at this point.

Last year, they were announced on March 11th. Which was before Free Agency started so we should know by the start of the mock.
