We all witnessed Spencer Rattler and Jake Haener stinking up the joint last year, neither of those guys are or will be anything anyways. Some of us did know that would happen, so it was not at all surprising that it was even worse than it could have been.

The Saints are bringing Quinn Ewers in for a top 30 visit and are doing a lot of homework on him, so if he’s still available at this point in the draft, they’re almost definitely taking him if they haven’t done so already. I feel a lot better about his long term prospects, even if he never becomes a full-time starter. The Saints should be in position and either prepared and/or resigned to do this properly next year.

I’m quite pleased this guy is still on the board. This RB class is just so damn deep and not everyone is not a scheme fit for every team, so there are going to be extremely solid options available well into Day 3.
