Walter Nolen went right before. Had he not i would have taken him. Howie in real life would make use a few of them like someone as he did Dotson this past year. I would be suprised if they Eagles draft at 32 though. Think a trade either way.Eagles would never use all these picks. Even right now, they have 20 over the next two drafts.
They’re moving up if anything. They’re not going to sit and wait and hope their guy falls to them.Walter Nolen went right before. Had he not i would have taken him. I'd say Barkley was more hyped than Jeanty as some analysts had him going first overall. Jeanty's a great prospect tho and I wouldn't be mad if the Raiders picked him 6th overall. After Johnson and McMillan he was next on my list for that pick. I don't think Jeanty or Sanders make it out of the top 10.
Broncos will listen about trading down from #51.
Yeah I wanted a TE with my next pick and once Mason Taylor went, I felt like I had to pounce. Given the complexity of the TE position (having to learn receiver and blocker) I like the fact Fannin’s been playing regularly for three seasons. He also performed well against power 4 non conference opposition.Well you made a hell of a pick with it. Fannin isn't a guy that will work in every offense, but Payton and him should be a perfect marriage.
He's such a hard guy to make a comp for because that combination of more narrow route tree but high separation, excellent YAC ability, elite hands, and bowleggedness is extremely rare. Charles McDonald managed to find one -- Aaron Hernandez. Obviously just on the field.![]()

[Seinfeld voice]: their uniforms are orange, but they’re Bowling Green? What’s the deal with that?
Like I said, I doubt Jeanty will be around at #20 like he was for me, but I am warming up to the Broncos using that pick on Omarion Hampton and would be thrilled with him and Fannin as the first two picks.
Fannin is #3 on my TE list after Ty Warren and Loveland. If you want any blocking ability, you probably should be happy you didn't end up with Taylor. He lacked the functional strength to even be solid at it in the SEC let alone the NFL. As good as he is catching the ball away from his body, that hand strength doesn't translate to blocking either. It makes his hands slip outside the pads and is usually a leading indicator of penalty problems. Other than Tyler Warren, you've got to get to somewhere like 6th-8th on most boards to get a true in-line TE (Ben Yurosek, Mitchell Evans, etc.).
Fannin's profile is basically Payton's Joker position to a T. He's a WR with some light blocking responsibilities.
