Figured we can get a playoff talk going.

Shapiro on the DLLS postgame mentioned he believes Heiskanen will be back for Game 4. Says he watched Miro practice for an hour pre-game and looked good. When he spoke with him afterwards, he said his knee felt pretty good after it and had no issues. The next step would be the have him play now.

I don't know if we see Robertson for a while

I also question Landeskog's return - why didn't he just return in games 1 or 2? Wanting his redebut to be at home is not something I can see a coach actually going for. I think it's more likely he just isn't ready for whatever reason. Guess we'll see tomorrow.

I'm guessing it's going to be a 1 and done situation.
I don't think he's going to have an NHL career again, so they are saving his farewell game for a home game,

Ya the fact Robo hasn’t touched the ice yet leads me to believe we won’t see him until next round. Maybeee game 7.

To be honest though, I’m not really worried about our team moving forward without Robo (short term). Our forwards are deep enough to sustain a loss like Robo.

Bichsel looked great last night too. The defense will look so different when Miro is back! Petrovic hasn’t looked bad either, beats the hell out of Dumba-ss and Smith.

Petrie makes me nervous out there but he has been fine given the situation and expectations. Might be a different story when the Avs have last change though.

Landeskog went through his first full NHL game day prep in a long time. These players do a lot of work on game days, so I imagine seeing how he felt after the skate, nap, stretch, off-ice exercises, and on-ice warm up was a good test for how several hours of activity felt and how he was doing when he woke up this morning.

Even if he plays, we're probably talking 4th line and some PP time. I'd be shocked if he plays even ten minutes.

We make it deep, Robertson will play is what I was told. He's done some damage to that knee.

is that game day prep significantly different than what he would've done in his brief ahl stint?

Posted in the wrong thread.

I think 2 days off between game 3 and 4 brings Miro into play for Game 4.

Will get put through his paces at the practise the day off before Game 4. Hopefully ticks all boxes and joins

“Nils Lundkvist is a serviceable defenseman and is sorely missed on the blueline.”

So his return could range anywhere from him being unable to play double digit minutes and causing a distraction to his team, to being an effective player and giving them a huge morale boost.

Would be really nice to ruin his return by blowing them out.
