"Recless in the past" when having cap space. Briere was talking about Chuck lol
On that note, I don’t know if it’s in the files but Coatesy had the balls to say something along the lines of “it’s no secret that there were issues in the last front office.”

The balls on this man after chastising the fans for booing Fletcher.

To be fair, he probably doesn't remember doing that.

Briere thinks they’re too small.

That size thing is real.

“If you looked at our drafts the last few years we pay attention to that.”

“We’re very aware that size is an area of concern.”
Adding size is fine. But the problem with the Flyers is they draft size with guys who’s skating is average at best. F

I guess I shouldn’t be suprised anymore, but it’s shocking how oblivious this front office is, and how often they contradict themselves.

“We want to be a destination franchise,” yet you employ a head coach who finished first in the player poll for “last coach you’d want to play for.”

“We didn’t draft Buium because we already have smaller D like York, Andrae, Drysdale,” but now York is not small like Andrae and Drysdale.

There are dozens of other examples. SMH

The D size thing is funny when Colorado won with one of the smallest top 4 D in recent memory.

And Flyers currently have a D that averages basically the same as Tampa...
I just saw a size chart for all NHL franchises. The flyers rank 28th, but the difference between the top and bottom of the chart is negligible. Something like 6’2 187 an average at the top, 6’1 184 at 28… more nonsense. Where does your skill rank Dani??

He probably means Hextall, since the current abomination is basically Fletcher 2.0.
