Botafogo won the Copa Libertadores and thus became the last club to make the tournament. They did pretty well to win despite having a player sent off in the 2nd minute.

What a prolonged draw, and somewhat weird to follow with all restraints, also in the playoffs, determining which group each team goes into.

Nice to see Teofilo Cubillas, don't remember seeing him in any draws before.

Not sure if del Piero is the best main host for this, probably on level with Arsene Wenger's dancing performance. Altogether there seems to be too many co-hosts in there.



Chelsea drawn into group D alongside Flamengo. Chelsea's opening match will be against Mexico's Club Leon.

Some European teams in same groups, PSG with Atletico Madrid and Bayern Munich with Benfica.
And Juve ends up with Man City.
