This isn’t a full list, but from the last update:
NYI: Schaefer, Misa, Hagens
SJ: Schaefer, Misa
CHI: nobody
UT: Hagens, Martin, Martone, Misa, O'Brien
NSH: Martin, Misa
PHI: O'Brien, Martone, Martin
BOS: Martin
PIT: Mrtka, McQueen
This doesn’t include Aitcheson with the Penguins at minimum, but no one seems to know if Desnoyers had any dinners with teams while Martin had a ton.
You know how much a large quarter ponder with cheese meal costs in Chicago?????Chicago said “f*** them kids.”
Yeah I agree. He backs up his opinions with numerous examples.Sounds sarcastic but I really value this guy’s opinion.
Hell yeah. Chad Ruhwedehl!Yeah, Mrtka seems like a sure fire bet to carve out a long NHL career. I don't know how effective or impactful he'll be but he seems like he plays a style and has the frame to at least give you a guy who is in the lineup every night.
I like that it’s not all sugar-coated either.Yeah I agree. He backs up his opinions with numerous examples.
Chicago probably should find a different verb considering, y’know.Chicago said “f*** them kids.”
Yeah but tall. We love tall, dude.Hell yeah. Chad Ruhwedehl!
it wasn't that long ago that i had any of 8 defensemen and i knew one was going to drop to us, you guess it no. 8 went just before we picked.Somebody is going to drop everybody relax. At least 2-3 dmen are going in the top 10.
Fwiw, those Eklund measurements kinda worry me. Hoped he’d be closer to 175lb.
I don't think Drury is in danger of losing his job. Yet. But his seat is probably getting a bit warm. It's doubtful he'll have the patience to be willing to wait for a draft pick to develop. One of the nice things about picking at 11th is the teams above the Pens are going to take a lot of these options off the table.
We're probably not sitting at 11 picking between a bunch of guys we want. Like Dubas might be very interested in 5 guys and maybe 4 of them are off the board when it gets to pick 11. Seems likely to me tbh.
These are all the players I spoke with at the combine today, and all of them also spoke with the Penguins: Roger McQueen, Kashawn Aitcheson, Radim Mrtka, Victor Eklund, Caleb DesnoTaylor Haase with great reporting as always. Had an exclusive with Dubas at the combine:

Exclusive: Kyle Dubas on Penguins' plans for free agents, trades
The Penguins will hold their pro scouting meetings next week, where the front office and new head coach Dan Muse will sit down over a period of three days and make decisions regarding the Penguins' direction when it comes to free agency and trades.www.dkpittsburghsports.com
Info about the draft, free agency, trades etc. Relevant to this thread, he views the Rangers 1st as probably landing in the low 20s next year, and a low 20s pick next year is about equivalent to 12 in this draft, so it's a wash to him what the Rangers decide to do.
I'd be okay with McQueen as long as we're not trading up to pick him. I just don't think he's going to amount to anything, so I'd prefer to skip ahead to 3 years when he busts after yet another awful preseason and everyone hates him and pretends they hated him years ago.Islanders: Schaefer
San Jose: Misa
Chicago: Frondell
Utah: Martin
Nashville: Smith
Philadelphia: Hagens
Boston: Desnoyers
Seattle: O’Brien
Buffalo: Eklund
Anaheim: Mrtka
Pittsburgh: McQueen
Board meltdown
The Sam Bennett effect is gonna make Brady Martin a top 5 pick isn't it?![]()
The worst member of the Byrds.Roger McQueen sounds more like an actor than a hockey player and that is gonna bother me so I'd much rather not have that inconvenience in my life
Tall is the new truculence.Yeah but tall. We love tall, dude.
Long pants hockey. Unless you're like me and you're 6'5 with a 29 inch inseam. Johnny Bravo proportions.Tall is the new truculence.
It's important that we remember the long part of long pants hockety. Otherwise, we're not getting to our game.Long pants hockey. Unless you're like me and you're 6'5 with a 29 inch inseam. Johnny Bravo proportions.
