NHL Entry Draft: 2025 Draft Pick Watch

Silver lining. 🤞🏻

We drafted Staal #12 in 2005.

Recency bias, and posters who belive all 6 D should be Norris winners or they suck.

OV and Sid woulda had waaaaay more points if they didnt have to face Staal and G$ for the first half of their careers.

#12 Aint a death nail.

It’s a weak draft that severely drops off in talent at 11. Those drafts were deep and we can find a player there.

It's 2025. Why can't the ball bouncing machine just spit out a ball when the clock reaches zero? Instead, you got a guy calling Draw, and a guy stopping the machine manually upon hearing Draw

Yolanda Vega is warming up in the bullpen

Hey, maybe Steve McQueen drops to 12, his health issues turnout to be nothing, and we get a homegrown top6 center for 15 years
He plays with an edge too, has size and skilled. I wouldn't mind him at 12. You mean Roger McQueen?

2017 was a 'weak' draft with all the talent dropping after pick 6 (and us having pick 7), but if we had pick 12 in taht draft we could have taken wither Necas or Suzuki...

You aren't getting a game breaking talent in any draft at 12 except by sheer luck, but you can pick up a very useful player

He’s still keeping the pick, not sure why anyone thinks he’s not.

Someone in the top 10 drop to 12. Will Drury donthe right thing and draft him is the question.

I don't see that as silver lining. The guy I wanted went right before that. I was so stoked cause I thought for sure we had him. f***ing LA Kings. f***ing Anze Kopitar.

He did with GP I guess. Question is whether we will ever see GP get serious playing time like on a pp1? Probably not so give up the 12th overall pick and all future first rounder picks for players over 30 years old.
