What do you guys think about Jake O'Brien? 6'2" Right handed C touted as a playmaker.
I have reservations about the smarts (not that he is necessarily dumb) but I like the individual skill and physicality.just got done with my first brady martin study :
BAM , THIS GUY IS A PLAYER ! i see smarts / ruggedness / talent in a center .
so far ive got jackson - carbenou - martin - hensler . but i wouldnt doubt
martin could become my highest rated in the 11th pick area
Why do you prefer Carbonneau over Martin? Offensive upside?just got done with my first brady martin study :

I like his skating much, much more than Martin's but think they are generally the same quality of playerWhy do you prefer Carbonneau over Martin? Offensive upside?

Bruins will win the lottery to piss us off and show us how things are doneBoston bound.
No the absolute worst they can do is go on a heater and MISS the playoffs. Literally only f***ing up our draft. The absolute worst thing this team can do is go on a heater to end the season and still make the playoffs. I’ll probably scream if it happens.
i have to watch more video to develop a serious opinion on his iqI have reservations about the smarts (not that he is necessarily dumb) but I like the individual skill and physicality.
As long as he is not Rasmussen cloneIm leaning towards to Jack Nesbitt, i see lot of offensive upside and quite a hoss already but still also quite raw. A lot of room to grow. Takes care of defensive responsibilities as well. Nesbitt checks out lot of boxes.
Far from Ras.As long as he is not Rasmussen clone

Wings ain't getting a top-10 pick. With a top 10 pick? No way. Sub ppg player on a strong Windsor team. Needs to improve his compete. Doesn’t have a single high end tool in his toolbox. Isn’t physical enough for his size. This screams a player that could be the worst of Trashmussen and Mantha all in one.
Maybe if he’s there in the second I gamble on him but he’s a do not draft in the first round for me. The comparison I’ve read for Nesbitt is Chytil. That doesn’t excite me much.
Wings ain't getting a top-10 pick.
What i've read, his compete level is high and uses his size well with and without the puck, not a hit machine like Martin but delivers. Hand-eye coordination is in the top of this draft class and strong in the faceoff circle. As for his points, if he really is that responsible player defensively, that usually eats away production.
Ras and Mantha were physically mature when they were drafted, Nesbitt a big already but he still has room to grow. Add 20 lbs on that 6'4'' frame and he becomes a freight train. And what did Yzerman say about Kasper, "untapped offensive potential". Im seeing same stuff from Nesbitt.
I saw the Chytil comp as well but also saw Jordan Staal comp. Interesting enough, Chytil is 13th highest scorer in his draft class and 13th pick is close what Wings will get. So maybe Chytil is best what we can get.
6’4, plus skater, good skill, good scorer.I would take Nesbitt over Lykovic. Lyndon has 4 pims for the year. I’m just stat watching but do we want another big soft player? I’ve seen him twice in juniors and can’t say he stood out either game
But does he have the mentality to play like a freight train or will he play like trolley as Moose and Mantha sill do? Size alone means absolutely nothing, if he does not know how to use it. I need to read up a bit more on Nesbitt.Wings ain't getting a top-10 pick.

Agree, PIM does not necessarily matter, but the point from @HoweFan still stands: Lakovic is another big body who does not use his frame well and seems rather soft.6’4, plus skater, good skill, good scorer.
Could care less how many penalty minutes he has.
If he scores 30+ goals for us, do we care? Because I think he has that kind of upside.Agree, PIM does not necessarily matter, but the point from @HoweFan still stands: Lakovic is another big body who does not use his frame well and seems rather soft.
